Niagara Falls

Getting an opportunity to visit one of the natural wonders of the world can be quite overwhelming. One such experience for me is being able to visit Niagara Falls not too long ago.

This week, I decided to pay homage to this magnificent natural wonder. I have also ensured that I accurately painted the two boats operated by two different operators. This is differentiated by the colour of raincoats provided to their customers/visitors. The boat with blue raincoats is operated by an American company whilst the red is operated by a Canadian company.

Sulcata Tortoises

The African Spurred Tortoise or also known as the Sulcata Tortoise is the 3rd largest tortoise species in the world. It is also the largest mainland tortoise after the Galapagos and Aldabra giant tortoises.

In recent years, the Sulcata tortoise has become quite popular among pet owners. You might have come across videos of people taking their pet Sulcata tortoises for walks around the neighbourhood.

Just a little over 5 years ago, one of my sons brought home two tiny tortoises approximately two inches in diameter. They lived in a tortoise table for a couple of years before they outgrew it and had to be relocated. Much to the delight of the children, they lived at the preschool for a while. And just before the pandemic hit, they moved in with us and have grown almost double in size ever since. They are two very happy tortoises.

In dedication to Kerby & Flash, I have decided to paint them this week.

Hydrangea & Partridges

In a blink of an eye, today’s video is the 58th video posted onto my YouTube channel.

I am back to the floral theme this week and I have decided to paint the Hydrangea plant with a couple of partridges.

Just thought the colorful flowers of the Hydrangea will go well with the duller partridges.
